Why is this important?
This is a general way of talking about God’s nature, His self-consciousness.
It describes describes his nature in 2 ways:
His immateriality (He doesn’t have a body).
His transcendence (He is not limited by space or time.)
Is this hard to understand?
[It can be because we can’t see or hear Him like we can other friends.]
